15 Years of Ahlulbait Indonesia: Organizational Consolidation for Nationalism, Harmony, and Global Solidarity
With the theme "United in Building a Culturally Rooted Organization," ABI underscores the importance of organizational consolidation in addressing contemporary challenges, including reinforcing national identity, safeguarding diversity, and responding to global issues with a humane and inclusive approach.

As part of this commemoration, ABI organized a reflective discussion in the Ngopi Bareng Ketum ABI Podcast, featuring ABI Chairman Ustadz Zahir Yahya. The discussion explored the organization’s journey, the challenges faced, and its future mission and vision in fostering a more harmonious, civilized, and empowered society.

ABI and Its Commitment to NKRI: Strengthening Unity and Tolerance

Since its inception, ABI has made nationalism a core pillar of its struggle. As an organization based on the Islamic values of rahmatan lil ‘alamin (mercy to all creation), ABI is committed to enhancing social harmony through concrete steps, such as:

1.Promoting interfaith and intercultural dialogue to strengthen the spirit of tolerance and prevent extremism and radicalism.

2.Collaborating with other religious organizations to build synergy in safeguarding Indonesia’s unity.

3.Educating the public about Pancasila as the foundation of national and state life through seminars, discussions, and digital campaigns.

"ABI will continue to be part of the struggle to maintain national unity. In Islam, loving one’s homeland is part of faith, and for us, NKRI is non-negotiable."
— Ustadz Zahir Yahya, Chairman of ABI

A Global Humanitarian Mission: Boundless Solidarity for Palestine

ABI's commitment to humanitarian efforts extends beyond national borders. Since its establishment on the 15th of Sha'ban 1431 H, ABI has been actively engaged in various social initiatives, ranging from humanitarian aid for natural disaster victims to human rights advocacy through its autonomous body, ABI Responsif.

At the international level, ABI has consistently supported the struggle of the Palestinian people. Over the past year, ABI has:

1.Provided humanitarian aid to victims of aggression in Gaza.

2.Raised donations and conducted global awareness campaigns on the Palestinian issue.

3.Supported legal actions at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to prosecute Israel’s war crimes.

In response to the escalation of violence in Palestine and U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to forcibly relocate Gaza residents, ABI Chairman Ustadz Zahir Yahya firmly stated:

"ABI strongly condemns this illegal act. The forced displacement of the Palestinian people violates human rights principles and international law. We urge the Indonesian government and the global community to oppose all forms of oppression against the Palestinian nation."

Addressing National Challenges in the Digital Era

Amid increasing disinformation and social polarization, ABI has taken strategic steps to safeguard national unity through:

1.Research-based media education to counter hoaxes and propaganda that threaten unity.

2.Online discussions and studies to raise public awareness of the importance of national cohesion.

3.Community-based tolerance campaigns aimed at strengthening diversity and reinforcing national values.

"Nationalism and Islamic values must go hand in hand. ABI is committed to continuing its role in building a more just, harmonious, and culturally enriched Indonesia."
— Ustadz Zahir Yahya

15 Years of ABI: Consolidation and Concrete Actions for the Nation

This 15th-anniversary milestone is not merely a celebration but a moment to strengthen ABI’s role in upholding nationalism, fostering social harmony, and promoting humanitarian solidarity. ABI invites all elements of society to collaborate in building a more just, empowered, and culturally enriched Indonesia.

ABI also calls for global solidarity in rejecting all forms of injustice, including in the struggle to defend Palestine as part of a universal humanitarian mission.
