Mass rallies were held across multiple districts in Sa’ada, including Majz, Ghamr, al-Dhaher, Baqim, Kitaf wa al-Boqe'e, al-Hashwah, Monabbih, and Qatabir, according to Yemen's al-Masirah television channel.
Protesters voiced their support for Palestine and condemned US President Donald Trump’s plan to take over Gaza and move Palestinians to countries like Jordan and Egypt.
Participants waved Palestinian and Yemeni flags, chanting slogans against Trump’s displacement proposal.
They also expressed support for the Yemeni Ansarullah movement and other factions within the Axis of Resistance.
Demonstrators declared they would not be intimidated by the United States or Israel and would resist any attempts to implement the plan.
During the rally in Sa’ada's capital, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, directly addressed Trump, stating, “Your military power and the support you offered to the occupier (Israel) will not force the Palestinian people to leave their homeland.”
He emphasized Yemen's unwavering support for Palestine and warned the US of Yemeni military strength.
“The missiles and forces you dispatched to Palestinian territories will fail to displace the people of Gaza,” he added.
Al-Houthi affirmed that Yemeni forces are vigilant and prepared for any developments.
He also commented on the recent collision involving the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman in the Mediterranean Sea, suggesting it reflected US military anxiety due to conflicts with Yemeni forces.
Al-Houthi stated that Yemen is ready for all scenarios, particularly following remarks by Ansarullah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, who warned of potential military intervention if the US and Israel pursued the Gaza displacement plan.
Al-Houthi reiterated Yemen's ongoing support for Palestine, citing large-scale demonstrations over the past 15 months as evidence of their steadfast position.
