Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov sent a congratulatory message to his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, on the occasion of Nowruz and the Persian New Year.

Lavrov praised the strengthening ties between Russia and Iran, highlighting the signing of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement in January, the significant rise in trade exchanges, and ongoing joint infrastructure projects.

He also expressed hope for continued consultations and close coordination between the two nations on key regional and international issues, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in implementing previous agreements.
