Iranian Missile Strike Disrupts Ben Gurion Airport, Israel’s Air Transport Hub
Following the missile impact and the subsequent fire at the airport, at least two aircraft that had been preparing to land were forced to circle in the air.

According to flight data and images, the planes have been flying in holding patterns above the area, waiting for conditions to become safe enough to attempt landing.

The airport, which previously handled more than 30,000 passengers daily and around 300 flights, is now facing a serious operational crisis.

The facility’s annual revenue of about $2 billion is now under serious threat, while supply chains for goods, exports, and tourism—heavily dependent on this vital air artery—have been severely disrupted.

A large portion of the Israeli regime’s exports, particularly high-technology products, rely on air transportation. As a result, the disruption has dealt another blow to the regime’s foreign trade.
