In remarks at the Lebanese Parliament, he warned that excluding Lebanon from any ceasefire framework contributes to ongoing bloodshed, blaming the political authority for pursuing such a course.
Fadlallah also accused certain factions of “violating the National Pact” by stoking internal divisions and circulating misleading accounts of developments in the battlefield against the invading Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, including the battle of Bint Jbeil.
“Bint Jbeil, despite the intensity of the bombings, still stands firm thanks to the unparalleled courage of the resistance fighters,” he stressed.
Meanwhile, the Hezbollah lawmaker questioned: “Who is the outlaw—the resistance that defends the land, or the authority that continues to make concessions and communicate with the enemy?
He added that the image presented in Washington, during the meeting between the Lebanese ambassador and the Israeli ambassador, misrepresents Lebanon’s reality and the choices of its people.
MP Fadlallah urged authorities to assume their responsibilities, uphold the constitution, and unify the country rather than follow “externally driven policies.”
He concluded by rejecting efforts to isolate Lebanon’s negotiation track from broader regional dynamics, saying such proposals align with Israeli demands and undermine national interests.
