Related FileThe facility, located about 160 kilometers from the Lebanese border, serves as a key communications hub for the Zionist entity and international media networks.

The strike occurred at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Monday and involved Hezbollah quality rockets.

Israeli website Calcalist said subsequent reports identified the weapon as a Fateh-110, an Iranian-made precision surface-to-surface missile equipped with a heavy warhead designed to strike strategic infrastructure.

Footage released after the attack shows the moment the missile directly struck the site, which contains around 120 satellite antennas. While the Israeli army initially remained silent about the incident, it later acknowledged a significant malfunction in the alert system, which prevented sirens from being activated for residents in the surrounding area despite the incoming threat.

According to Israeli military investigation, several rockets were intercepted during the barrage. However, two projectiles, including the missile that struck the station, penetrated Israeli defenses despite interception attempts.

Heavy damage was caused to the site, which includes a 24/7 monitoring center that supports global broadcasts.

The Ella Valley station is the first Israeli facility of its kind and functions as a central junction for international broadcast networks, linking ground centers in London and the United States.
